Repairing, reusing, and remanufacturing electric vehicle (EV) battery packs, including cells and modules, is important to extend the lifespan of these components, reduce waste, and promote sustainability.

What will the Recirculate project change?

By developing fast, cost-effective characterization techniques RECIRCULATE will enable easy assessment of battery component condition, allowing packs with SOH >80% to be directly reused in Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS).
