Today, 30 April, DHL Supply Chain is hosting an internal dissemination event at its Gebze 9 warehouse, bringing together 60 senior professionals from business development and operations, along with selected industrial clients.
Transporting lithium-ion batteries, especially used or damaged ones, remains a major safety and regulatory challenge. Within Recirculate, DHL Supply Chain, in collaboration with Gelkoh, developed smart logistics solutions combining IoT, telematics, and real-time monitoring to ensure safe transport conditions.
The session introduces the Recirculate project, highlighting its objectives, key activities, and initial outcomes. The focus is on exploring innovations in battery logistics and how they can support safer, more efficient, and circular supply chains.
The event provides an opportunity to engage directly with DHL customers interested in the future of battery logistics and related sustainable solutions.
